Baked French Fries

This lab was fun because I got to experiment with different flavors and spices being that potatoes are fairly bland tasting to begin with. It was more about practicing our knife cuts with the potatoes, and I chose to make them into french fries because that was an easy way to demonstrate clean cuts. I also chose to try and bake them for a healthier twist on the regular french fry. This didn't turn out like I'd hoped because it takes longer to cook potatoes than the time I was given. I mixed oil, garlic, onion, and a few different spices and brushed that over the french fries, turning them over so they were evenly coated. They tasted good just weren't the proper texture.
